Public Preview of New Library Website and Catalog has Arrived

New year brings a new library website and catalog

(Springfield, OH--)

New year, new website!

Over the past year, we’ve been working toward making upgrades and changes to our library website and catalog. Our goal was to make them both more user friendly, integrated, and full of staff personality!

We're now in the public preview phase, where we're asking for your feedback about both our new site and catalog.  Please take some time to visit our new site and catalog and tell us what you think by using the Website Feedback button, located on the bottom right corner of each page. https://www.ccplohio.org/

New catalog features include:

  • Better Browsing – Easily find the exact item you’re looking for. The new catalog will provide search term suggestions when performing keyword searches from the search box. Suggestions include names and titles.
  • Smarter Searching - Search the catalog like you would search the web, with keywords, like “new music” or “kids movies,” to easily find what you are looking for.
  • Staff Recommendations - Reviews and lists recommended by your library staff are prominently featured on the homepage and throughout the new website.
  • Community Activity - Share, rate, and review your favorite materials as well as browse through titles that have been rated or reviewed, by other patrons and staff.

Questions - Feel free to call us at (937) 328-6903 with any questions that you may have about the new website or catalog.

We welcome your respectful and on-topic comments and questions in this limited public forum. To find out more, please see Appropriate Use When Posting Content. Community-contributed content represents the views of the user, not those of Clark County Public Library
