Computers, WiFi & Printing

Internet Computers

Internet computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis at all library locations. A valid Clark County Public Library card, in good standing, is required to use the Internet. Visitors may request a visitor card at the Reference Desk. Note: Minors under 18 years of age must have parental or legal guardian signature consent to use an Internet computer.

Patrons using these computers must abide by our library Internet Usage Policy. Our Rules of Conduct also apply while on library property. This generally requires simple respect for the rights of others — no excessive noise, offensive language, etc. Breaking the rules may lead to loss of computer and/or library privileges.

All terms subject to change at anytime.

Learning Computers

Computers with learning software are available for use in our children’s areas. These are geared for children ages eight and younger and may be used for 30 minutes a day. Note: All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

WiFi

The Clark County Public Library offers free wireless Internet access at all locations as a convenience for patrons who have WiFi-equipped laptops and hand-held devices. Many laptops that people purchase now come with wireless internet cards. The wireless card must be 802.11B or 802.11G compatible.
