Library to Offer Pickleball Kits

Kits Available Through a Partnership with the Community Health Foundation

The Clark County Public Library, in partnership with the Community Health Foundation, is pleased to now offer Pickleball Kits as a way to encourage physical activity in the Clark County community.

The first day that kits will be available for checkout is May 15th, 2024.

The Pickleball Kits are located in the Games collection at the Main Library. Each kit contains a set of 4 graphite pickleball paddles, 4 balls, and a carrying case. Anyone with a valid library card can check out a kit for a 3-week period.

Pickleball is played on a court similar in size to a doubles badminton court. The game is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes, and is similar to tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. Pickleball has gained popularity in recent years due to its accessibility and ease of learning, making it a popular game for players of all ages and skill levels.
