2026 All Ages Summer Challenge - Unearth a Story
Kids and Teens
- You can register yourself and your children on Beanstack at https://ccplohio.beanstack.org/reader365 (beginning June 1st), by grabbing the Beanstack app through scanning the QR code below,
OR staff can register you. Library staff can also register you as an off-line reader IF you are CERTAIN, you will never log in yourself.
- You do not need to enter your library card to register, but we do prefer that you use one when setting up your account.
- Parents can register their children by creating a family account and listing each child individually.
- When registering, you must select the branch that you typically attend, however you may pick up your prizes at any of our branches/Bookmobile.

You will be able to register for a Summer Challenge based on your age. We have three ages groups:
- Birth-4
- 5-12
- Teens 13-18* still in high school
- Adult
- You will have 20 activities to complete (e.g. read a library book, check out a book, attend a library program, visit a park, visit a museum in person or virtually, play a game) for the challenge. You can click on each as you complete them. This will earn you a badge.
- Those who register in the 5-12 or 13-17 category during the first week of the Challenge will be entered to win 4 tickets to Kings Island!

How it Works - Kids & Teens
There will be activities to complete (read a book, attend a library program, visit a museum, play a game, go to the park) for the challenge. Completion of activities leads to earning a badge. Once you earn badges, you can then collect prizes! Books, books and more books! Or some cool library swag (while supplies last)! Those who complete all activities in the challenge will be entered to win the grand prize in their age group.

2026 Summer Challenge Programs and Activities
How it Works - Adults
Adults will be able to choose between the Adult Summer Challenge which has a mixture of reading, exploring library resources, attending programs, and having fun or the Avid Summer Reading Challenge which only focuses on reading. After completing activities/reading, adults can earn books and library swag. Complete them all and get entered for the grand prize - a Fire Kindle!
Library employees and their immediate families/members of their household can participate in Challenges however they are not eligible to win books, swag, or the grand prize.
