Check out the Houston Branch local history area the next time you are visiting.
It contains books about local/county/state history, architecture, and people. On a recent visit, a patron found a vintage picture of his house! Two of the books were written by Sue Mattison, a local author. She has written a booklet about Greenlawn Cemetery and a biography of Edward Edwards entitled, Edward Edwards: The Man Who Built South Charleston, Ohio.
These items must be enjoyed within the library.
