Volunteering with the Clark County Public Library is a great way to support literacy, learning, and connection. Whether you're looking for a regular commitment or a one-time opportunity, we're glad you're here!
What to Know Before You Apply
Age Requirements
- Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. (See opportunity descriptions for specific age requirements.)
- Applicants under 18 must have a parent or guardian's signature on all volunteer forms.
Background Check
- A criminal background check is required for all applicants age 18 and older.
Additional Requirements
- If you are a family member or friend of a CCPL employee, you will be assigned to a different library branch or department than the employee.
- The library cannot accept court-mandated or diversion program volunteers.

The Friends of the Library
Additional volunteer opportunities are available through The Friends of the Clark County Public Library.
The Friends host used book sales to raise funds for special library programs and materials.
