Stage for All Invites the Community to Experience the Arts for Free

Enjoy programs form the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, the Springfield Arts Council and More!

(Springfield, OH--)

Now local residents and library card holders will have free access to the arts in our community with the launch of the Stage for All program.

This program, in partnership with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, Springfield Arts Council and Clark State Theater Arts Program will allow adults with a valid Clark County Public Library card to attend performances and programs offered at these arts organizations, completely free of charge.

“We greatly appreciate the generosity of our partner organizations, who are making the arts available to everyone in our community through this program and the library is excited to be the conduit for this new venture” said Allison Peck, Public Relations Manager for the library.

Library patrons will soon be able to visit the library’s web calendar of events (www.ccplohio.org), to register for tickets for each individual program. There will be a limited number of tickets for each show and a limit on the number of tickets per household that may be requested. Registration for the tickets will happen about a month out from the scheduled performance. Full details about the program can be found on the library website at www.ccplohio.org.  For more details on the program and how to sign-up, visit the FAQ for Stage for All

According to Lou Ross, Executive Director of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, “We’re thrilled to partner with the library and our fellow arts organizations to bring world-class performances to the community. This collaboration underscores the strength of Springfield’s cultural community and our shared belief that the arts belong to all. Live performance can uplift, inspire, and connect people in ways nothing else can. Stage for All invites every resident of Clark County to discover the joy of the arts, right here at home.”

Shows will range from Bugs Bunny at the Symphony, to Carmen Reimagined, to The Vampire Circus and The All New Wizard of Oz on Ice and To Kill a Mockingbird.

"It is my hope that caregivers will want to take their children to experience the performances which may inspire them to become involved in the arts whether that be by learning to play an instrument, take dance or theater classes, or become someone who helps raise awareness about just how important the arts are”, said Sonya Knisley, Head of Children’s Services.
