Your library card just got even more useful.
We’re excited to introduce the Library of Things, a hands-on collection of tools, gadgets, and equipment available for checkout, just like books! This new collection is designed to support everyday living, learning, and leisure by giving patrons access to items they may not need to own long-term.
Whether you want to try a hobby, fix something at home, or monitor your health, the Library of Things has something for you. Current items include:
-
Basic toolkits
-
Yard games and recreational equipment
-
Hobby kits and instruments
-
Medical equipment
-
Accessibility tools
-
And more!
Each item can be borrowed for two weeks using an adult library card. You’ll find the full collection available at the Main Library.
We want this collection to grow with the needs of our community. Have an idea for something you'd love to see included? Let us know! We're actively seeking suggestions and feedback on what you'd like to borrow next.
Discover what your library can do—visit the Library of Things and try something new!
