National Library Week 2026

Share Your Library Story With Us!

What sparks your library joy?

In celebration of National Library Week, we want to hear from you!

Libraries transform lives, but it’s the moments within them that make the magic. This National Library Week (April 19 - 25), we’re celebrating the theme “Find Your Joy” by collecting the small, wonderful moments that make our community special. Laugh with your little one during Storytime? Did you discover a new hobby? Make a friend through a program? Use a resource that helped you with your job? Tell us how our library brings you joy, and we'll display your story at the Main Library.

"Libraries are spaces of possibility, connection, and joy where everyone is welcome." That's the message from Mychal Threets, author of I'm So Happy You're Here and host of Reading Rainbow, and it's one we're celebrating this National Library Week.
