Clark County Public Library offers a variety of meeting spaces designed to fit your needs—whether you’re hosting a group, finding a quiet place to focus, or recording your next big idea.
Types of Meeting Spaces
- Gaier Room: up to 80 people (Main only).
- Community Room: up to 50 people (Tuttle only).
- Large Meeting Rooms: up to 25 people (Main, Park, Southgate, Enon, and Houston).
- Small Meeting Rooms: up to 8 people, depending on location (Main, Southgate, Enon, and Tuttle).
- Study Rooms: up to 2 people (Main only).
- Community spaces: Open space, no reservation required (Main only).
HOW TO RESERVE
Small Meeting Rooms can be reserved online up to 3 days in advance, or by calling our Reference Desk at (937) 328-6903. Larger spaces must be reserved at least one week in advance, as approved by our Public Relations Department. Users must have a Clark County Public Library card to book. Submitting a meeting room request serves as your agreement to the meeting room policy.

Reservable Spaces
Gaier Room
The GAIER MEETING ROOM at the Main Library is available during regular library hours for groups of 25 or more. This spacious room is ideal for large meetings, presentations, events, or workshops. Amenities include tables, chairs, a podium, whiteboards, an overhead projector, and an integrated sound system (fees may apply). Reservations must be made at least one week in advance and are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, with library events taking priority.

Community Room
Our Community Meeting Room is available during regular library hours and can accommodate groups of up to 50. Amenities include display monitors, whiteboards, overhead projectors, and integrated sound systems (fees may apply). Reservations must be made at least one week in advance and are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, with library events taking priority.

Large Meeting Rooms
Large Meeting Rooms are available during regular library hours and can accommodate groups of up to 25. Amenities may include display monitors, whiteboards, an overhead projector, and an integrated sound system (fees may apply). Available features vary by location, so please check the details when reserving. Reservations must be made at least one week in advance and are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, with library events taking priority.

Small Meeting Rooms
Small Meeting Rooms are available for individuals and groups aged 18 and older during regular library hours. These rooms are designed to accommodate up to 8 people (depending on the location) and are perfect for meeting clients, tutoring, or small group meetings. Amenities may include whiteboards and display monitors. Reservations can be made up to three days in advance online with a library card.

Study Rooms
Our Study Rooms are an intimate space designed for 1-2 people seeking a quiet environment for study, work, or hold private conversations. Amenities include small tables and outlets. Reservations can be made three days in advance, and the rooms are also available on a first-come, first-served basis during regular library hours. Patrons need both a library card and a photo ID to use a study room.

WhisperRoom
The WhisperRoom is a sound-isolated booth designed for 1–2 people to record audio or video projects, including podcasts, music, voiceovers, and more. Located at the Main Library, it features professional equipment such as a Blue Yeti microphone, headphones, and an iMac with editing software. Available to patrons 18 and older; younger users may be allowed with adult supervision. Sessions are two hours and can be booked three days in advance. Patrons need both a library card and a photo ID to use the WhisperRoom.

Community Spaces
Main Library Rotunda
The Main Library Rotunda is our open community space designed for casual gatherings, conversations, and collaboration. It’s freely accessible without a reservation and ideal for informal meetups.

Meeting Rooms FAQs

To book the Gaier Meeting Room (groups of 25 participants or more) or the Dividable Room 1 and/or 2 (group sizes 8 to 25 participants) at the Main Library, please click Space Bookings. Meeting room reservations at a Branch Library will be approved by the Branch Manager. All meetings (excluding the Small Meeting Rooms located at the Enon, Southgate, and Main Libraries) must be scheduled at least one week in advance and will be dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis with Library events taking priority. Requests will be addressed as time allows. Submission of a request constitutes a signature on and agreement to our meeting room policy. Groups booking the room should be aware of the rules for the space and should read the policy prior to using the Meeting Rooms. Failure to comply with the policy will result in permanent loss of Meeting Room privileges.

You may reserve space at the Patron Services Desk or online here. (The library will not accept phone calls or emails to request the study rooms). Small Meeting Rooms may be reserved in 30-minute increments for up to 3 hours a day. They can be reserved up to 3 days ahead of time. At the end of your reservation time, please remember to check out of the room.

Meeting Rooms are available for public use at all library locations. Additionally, the Enon, Southgate branch, and the Main Library have Small Meeting Rooms available.
The Main Library has three Small Meeting Rooms available for use, our Enon Branch has one Small Meeting Room available, and our Southgate branch has two Small Meeting Rooms available. Small Meeting Rooms are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis and can also be reserved up to three days in advance. A sign-up kiosk is located at the Patron Services Desk in the main hallway. Spaces may also be booked online by visiting http://Ccplohio.libcal.com/r. These rooms are for use by groups of 8 people or less.

All Meeting Rooms may be used by outside groups whose primary purpose is non-profit, civic, cultural, or educational, but meeting rooms may not be used by outside groups for the following:
- Social Gatherings (this includes but is not limited to birthday parties, retirement parties, anniversary parties, class reunions, family reunions, etc…)
- Entertainment Purposes (this includes private screening of films
- Religious/Political Purposes ((this includes formal religious services, - campaign activities directly related, pro or con, to the campaign of individual political candidates or ballot issues are prohibited in meeting rooms – fundraising is not permitted)
- For-profit Purposes (including, but not limited to, the promotion of, the advertising of, or sale of products and/or services and “Informational Seminars” that may result in a later sale - staff training sessions and meetings held by for-profit entities are not allowed)
- As an Organization’s Headquarters (such as the organization’s main base of operations)

For usage of a Meeting Room, a submitted request should be at least a week ahead of your requested (and approved) date.
For the Small Meeting Rooms available at the Main Library and Enon Branch, you may reserve a room up to three days ahead of your reservation or as space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
