Library of Things items can only be checked out by an adult with a library card. Things can only be held at the Main branch of the library.

Library of Things items must be returned to the Patron Services Desk at the Main branch of the library.

Library of Things items are checked out for a period of two weeks with no renewals. Only two Things may be checked out or put on hold at once.

By checking out a library of things item the patron acknowledges any potential risks that come from use or misuse of the item, and releases the Clark County Public Library and its employees from all liability, claims, and damages that could incur while using the borrowed items.

Should items be damaged or deemed missing, the patron will be charged with either a fine of either part of or the full cost of the item.

Board games can be checked out for 3 weeks.

Only 2 board games can be checked out in a single time.

Ensure that all items on the inventory slip are still in the container before returning your board game to the library.

Ghost Hunting Kits will be made to current adult Clark County Public Library full-access cardholders in good standing (no lost or overdue material).

Check-outs are for 7 days (no extensions). So that everyone can get their reserved kit on time, please return the kit before the library closes on the due date. DO NOT attempt to put kits in the book drop.

The full replacement cost of the kit, $250, will be billed to the borrower if the kit is not returned within 10 days of check out. The replacement cost of any missing or broken pieces will be billed to the borrower at the

In partnership with the Clark County Combined Health District the Clark County Public Library is able to offer bicycles for loan as part of our services. To borrow a bicycle from the library, the patron must be 18 years of age and older, and capable of operating the bike equipment. Patrons must have both a valid adult library card and a photo ID with their current address on it. When checking out a bike the patron will be asked to sign a release and liability waiver. The patron will be responsible for any damage or loss to a bicycle and may be charged with partial or full cost of the item as deemed appropriate by the library. The Clark County Combined Health District reserves the rights to pursue legal action against a patron who borrows a bicycle, and/or the Clark County Library may revoke library privileges.

Bikes may be checked out only for the initial day of checkout, and must be returned to the library one hour prior to closing. Patrons will be required to check out a bicycle helmet in addition to the bike unless they come present their own biking helmet on checkout. Bikes will come with a lock. All accessories must be returned along with the bicycle. The library will not checkout bikes three hours prior to closing.

Bikes can be checked out at the Main Library at the Reference Desk.
