The results from the library's December Holiday Food Drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank are in.
In the month of December all library locations held a food drive for the community, and we had between 85-87 patrons participate during the drive. A total of $4, 248.58 in fines we waived from patron accounts because of food donations to Second Harvest and 1,043 meals were able to be provided to the community because of the donations that were collected.
